Week 12 - Love That Looks Like Jesus

Love isn't an optional add-on to the Christian life—it's standard equipment. Based on 1 John 3:11-18, authentic Christianity is proven by sacrificial love, not just words or feelings. Unlike Cain, who harbored hatred and murdered his brother, believers are called to demonstrate love through costly action. We know we've passed from death to life because we love our brothers and sisters, following Christ's example of laying down His life for us. True love interrupts our plans, sacrifices our preferences, and shows up when nobody's watching. The world's version of love is emotional and effortless, but Jesus' love is sacrificial and lived out in real relationships.
