Week 11 - Children Of God Or Children Of The Devil

The apostle John challenges us to examine our true spiritual identity by asking a fundamental question: Who is your father? Sin isn't just breaking rules - it's active rebellion against God, starting small but growing into destructive patterns, as seen in King David's downfall. The good news is that Jesus came to destroy the devil's work and free us from sin's penalty, power, and eventual presence. While Christians aren't sinlessly perfect, true believers cannot remain in habitual, unrepentant sin because the Holy Spirit convicts and restores them. John provides two clear markers of God's children: righteousness and love, revealed through our daily lives and character.
