Brian Edwards

Lead Pastor of Hope Church

Brian planted Hope Church Danville in 1991 and has served as the Lead Pastor since that time. Brian is incredibly passionate about the local church and the multiplication of the local church. His heartbeat is to see thriving local churches increasing the volume of the Gospel in small, rural towns and communities. Brian has been married to his wife Denise since 1989 and they have three daughters.

Tommy Walton

Congregational Care Pastor

Tommy has served on staff at Hope Church for over ten years. During that time he has led youth ministry, trained and organized a security team, led mission’s teams, and now serves as the Pastor over congregational care. Tommy loves Jesus and people — and people definitely love him.  He is passionate about firearms, Alabama football, food and serving God.

Kelsey Bolton

Creative Director & Worship Leader 

Kelsey has been serving in the ministry of Hope Church since the age of twelve. After surrendering her life to Jesus she had one primary desire and that was to honor Him with her life. She does that by leading people to worship the One she adores. She also uses her art degree from Averett University to influence the creative direction of Hope Church and desires to see millennials discipled to be devoted followers of Jesus.

Jonathan Wright

Youth Pastor & Worship

Jonathan serves as the Youth Coordinator & Worship Assistant at Hope Church, He leads and oversees our Hope Students ministry. Jonathan grew up in a home where his Dad and Mom took seriously their responsibility to disciple him well. At the age of 14 Jonathan gave his life to Jesus Christ, and almost immediately showed an interest in serving in ministry. Eventually he took a leadership position at a large youth camp and that’s where he met his wife Kristin. Jonathan loves music, memes, making podcasts and the beauty of the mountains.

Ginger Southard

Operations Manager 

Ginger has been on staff at Hope Church for almost twenty years as the financial/office administrator. However, she has never allowed herself to be limited by either of those titles, and if you were to ask her, she would say she is a servant of Jesus Christ.

Clint Conner

Office Staff

Clint is passionate about helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus, and experiencing life change through Biblical community.  He has spent the last 16 years in full-time ministry in which he has served as a missionary to Paraguay, South America, as well as a lead pastor of a local church.  Clint and his wife Tangie have three sons.
