Week 15 - God's Love And The Life It Produces

Dec 21, 2025    Clint Conner

God's love is fundamentally different from human love because it flows from His very nature. The Greek word agape describes unconditional, sacrificial love that acts regardless of whether the recipient deserves it. God demonstrated this love by sending Jesus as an atoning sacrifice for our sins, acting first before we ever loved Him. This divine love cannot be separated from truth, challenging cultural ideas that view love and truth as opposing forces. When we walk in God's agape love, it produces assurance rather than fear, giving us confidence for the day of judgment because Christ has already faced judgment in our place.
