Week 6 - Tolerating Sin

The church at Thyatira appeared successful on the surface with increasing love and service, but they were tolerating false teaching that led people into sin. This teaches us that genuine love must always be anchored in truth. While our culture often defines love as acceptance without boundaries, biblical love speaks truth for others' good, even when difficult. Compromise in faith begins with small things we excuse or leave unchallenged. Jesus calls us to hold firmly to truth in a changing culture, surrounding ourselves with trustworthy people who help us stay anchored to God's Word. Though faithfulness may cost us in the present, our ultimate reward is Christ himself.
