Not Guilty

Romans 8:33-34 delivers one of the most stunning declarations in all of Scripture: no charge can be brought against those who belong to God. This is remarkable because, left to ourselves, we are fully deserving of condemnation. Our selfish choices, impure motives, and repeated failures give both our own conscience and the enemy plenty of ammunition. Yet God, the only perfectly qualified Judge in the universe, refuses to condemn His people.
