When we pray "Your will be done," we often treat it as passive resignation to fate. However, Jesus intended this as an active call to partnership with God. Rather than using God's will as an excuse for inaction, we're called to sacrifice our rights and align our hearts with His purposes. This prayer acknowledges the gap between earth's current state and heaven's perfection, calling us to actively close that gap through obedience and kingdom advancement.
